Kansas vs. Baylor final score: Bears keep tourney hopes alive, upset Jayhawks 81-58
Baylor got an important signature victory in the last game of the regular season, routing Kansas, 81-58.

Baylor jumped out to an big early lead thanks to Cory Jefferson, who was on fire in the first half -- scoring 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field. The Bears went into the locker room up 37-28.
The second half wasn’t much different. Kansas never could catch up, and couldn’t stop the three-point shots (Baylor made 6 of 11 from beyond the arc).
Pierre Jackson led the Bears with a 28-point, 10-assist double-double. Jefferson wasn't far behind, with 25 points and seven rebounds. Ben McLemore did his best to keep the Jayhawks in the game, finishing with 23 points.
This is a huge signature win for the Bears, but they still have work to do. It’s only their second Top 50 win of the season, and the Selection Committee won’t soon forget their disastrous February, where they went 4-7. A deep run in the Big 12 tournament is a must if they want to go dancing this year.
