UMass Minutemen guard Jesse Morgan was forced to withdraw from school for disciplinary reasons and will likely not return to the team, sources close to the program told Matt Vautour of GazetteNet.com.

Morgan served a one-game suspension for the incident that reportedly led to his dismissal from the university. Morgan played in 14 games for the Minutemen, averaging 13.4 points per game before suffering a season-ending knee injury against St. Louis in the team's conference opener.

The 6'5, 190-pound junior from Philadelphia would need a waiver from the NCAA to transfer to another Division I school due to being declared academically ineligible for his freshman year, forcing him to sit out the season.

UMass finished the season with a 21-12 record, including a first-round loss in the NIT to Stony Brook.
