The Wolverines received an at-large invite after finishing fourth in the Big Ten. Trey Burke leads the most efficient offense in the country, and have used their offensive firepower to blow out three of their first four opponents, including their Elite Eight matchup against the No. 3 Florida Gators.
The Syracuse Orange have thwarted teams with their 2-3 zone in the tournament, holding the No. 3 Marquette Golden Eagles to 39 points in the East regional final. Michael Carter-Williams has been one of the most dynamic players in college basketball this season, as he is one of the most skilled passers and can use his 6'6 frame to finish around the rim.
The game is a virtual toss-up, as Ken Pomeroy gives Michigan a 51 percent chance of reaching the National Championship.
