The NCAA will lower the basket to allow Kevin Ware to participate in the net-cutting ceremony if the Louisville Cardinals win the national championship game, according to USA Today's Rachel George.
Kevin Ware will cut down the net if Louisville wins
Kevin Ware gave his team an emotional boost after suffering a gruesome leg injury in the Elite Eight. He’ll be able to take part in the postgame net-cutting events if Louisville can win one more time.

David Worlock, the NCAA's media coordinator for the Division I championship, told George about the decision prior to the title game between Louisville and the Michigan Wolverines:
“We’re going to lower the baskets. We’re prepared for whatever Louisville would like to do.”
Louisville will decide where the injured sophomore will take his turn in the process, per George.
Ware broke his leg in the Elite Eight against Duke, and his teammates rallied around him en route to a blowout victory over the Blue Devils and a berth in the Final Four. Ware traveled with the team to Atlanta, where the Cardinals defeated Wichita State, 72-68, on Saturday to advance to the championship game.
