Trey Burke scored the first seven points for Wolverines, and Spike Albrecht drained a trio of three-pointers after coming off the bench to give his team a seven-point lead, its largest of the game thus far, with 12:05 remaining in the opening half. Michigan has made 61.5 percent of its shots.
Wayne Blackshear leads Louisville with five points. The Cardinals are shooting 50 percent from the floor.
