The Louisville Cardinals defeated the Michigan Wolverines to win the 2013 NCAA Championship. Although people have barely had time to clean up the confetti, the oddsmakers in Vegas are already busy figuring out the early favorites for the 2013-14 season. Since it's never too early to start planning your bets, let's take a look at who Vegas likes so far.
NCAA Championship odds: Kentucky early favorite to win in 2014
It’s never too early to start speculating about next year’s champion. Who has the best odds to cut down the nets in 2014?

According to RJ Bell of Pregame.com, the Kentucky Wildcats are 4/1 favorites to win the title next season. Despite a down season culminating in an embarrassing first-round NIT loss, John Calipari roped in a recruiting class that's already drawing comparisons to the Fab Five. If he's able to land 5-star kid Andrew Wiggins, it may end up being the best recruiting class ever.
Duke and North Carolina both draw 8/1 odds. Neither should be a surprise, given their perennial powerhouse status. Ohio State is at 9/1, but their chances will take a hit if DeShaun Thomas bolts for the NBA Draft. Louisville are given 12/1 odds to repeat as champions. The last team to accomplish that was Florida in 2006-07.
Here are the top 11 favorites to win it all next season:
Kentucky Wildcats: 4/1
Duke Blue Devils: 8/1
Ohio State Buckeyes: 9/1
Louisville Cardinals: 12/1
Memphis Tigers: 14/1
Michigan State Spartans: 15/1
Arizona Wildcats: 18/1
Michigan Wolverines: 20/1
Florida Gators: 20/1
Syracuse Orange: 20/1
