Brandon Reed will play for his third school in four seasons after deciding to transfer from Georgia Tech.

The 6'3, 182-pound wing started 43 games for the Yellow Jackets over the past two seasons, averaging 6.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest. Prior to his sophomore season, Reed transferred to Georgia Tech from Arkansas State, where he earned Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year honors after scoring 15.1 points per game.
Gregory expressed gratitude for Reed's contributions to the program in a statement released by the school:
"We appreciate everything Brandon has done for our program. He has been an integral part of this team over the last two years. We're excited that he will be earning a Georgia Tech degree and wish him success in his final year of eligibility."
The Yellow Jackets finished the 2012-13 season with a 16-15 record, culminating with consecutive losses to Boston College, the last of which came in the opening round of the ACC Tournament.
Reed has one more year of eligibility remaining, but will earn his bachelor's degree in Sociology at Georgia Tech before heading elsewhere.
