Headlined by showdowns between Michigan-Duke and Syracuse-Indiana, the Big Ten-ACC Challenge will be back this December for a 15th installment.
2013 Big Ten-ACC Challenge matchups announced
The 2013 edition of the Big Ten-ACC Challenge will feature seven matchups between teams that have never played one another in the event.

The ACC was victorious in the first 10 years of this event before the Big Ten bounced back to win the Commissioner’s Cup in each of the next three seasons. In 2012, the two conferences tied for the first time in the history of the event, allowing the Big Ten to keep the Cup for another year.
Seven of this year’s 12 matchups feature teams that have never played one another in challenge, a fact which was aided by Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame making the jump from the Big East to the ACC. The Orange will take on the Indiana team they recently upset in the Sweet 16, while the Panthers will make their debut in the event against in-state foe Penn State.
