For the second time in three years, Evan Gordon is looking for a new school.

Reports indicate Gordon, who will graduate from ASU this week, wants to play his final season closer to home in Indianapolis.

On Wednesday night, Gordon announced he was transferring after one season with the Arizona St. Sun Devils. He averaged 10 points for coach Herb Sendek while playing about 32 minutes a game, leading ASU to the NIT following a quarterfinals exit in the Pac-12 Tournament. He also averaged a little more than two rebounds and assists for the Devils last year.
Gordon originally began his career at Liberty, playing two seasons before heading to the Arizona deserts. He averaged 14.4 points as a sophomore, although he’s not a terrific shooter by any means.
It is unclear where Gordon will transfer, although it has been speculated that he wants to play closer to home in Indianapolis. Just hours after his decision to leave Arizona State went public, one report indicated he may be headed to Bloomington to play for the Indiana Hoosiers.
Gordon will graduate this week, meaning he could be eligible to play immediately, although the NCAA may have to give him a waiver for the 2013-14 season since he already changed schools once in his career.
