Emmanuel Mudiay, one of the top prospects in the 2014 recruiting class, recently trimmed his list of potential schools down to five: Baylor, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma State and SMU.
Emmanuel Mudiay’s final list includes Kansas, Kentucky
One of the top prospects in the 2014 recruiting class could be nearing a decision.

Mudiay checks in at 6’5 and 190 pounds, and he plays both of the guard positions on the floor. His upside is highest at the next level if he can play point guard, although his ball handling and distribution skills remain a work in progress. He’s an excellent athlete and can score the ball in just about every way possible. His jump shot has improved drastically over the past year.
Many have felt that John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats are the heavy favorites to secure Mudiay's commitment. With Mudiay likely spending just one season in college before heading to the NBA, he would fit coach Calipari's recent one-and-done model. Don't count out the Kansas Jayhawks or the hometown SMU Mustangs, where Larry Brown is the head coach.
Mudiay has not set a timetable for his final decision.
