Seven-footer Robert Upshaw has decided to transfer to Washington instead of Oregon after being dismissed by Fresno State in August, reports Jeff Goodman of ESPN. Upshaw, a top-50 prospect coming out of high school, initially committed to Kansas State prior to head coach Frank Martin leaving the program for South Carolina. He then committed to Fresno State, and is now set to join the Huskies:

Robert Upshaw has decided to transfer to Washington after a disappointing freshmen year at Fresno State.

“I had a nice visit with both Washington and Oregon,” said the 7-foot Upshaw, who was dismissed from Fresno State’s program last month following a disappointing freshman campaign. “I just felt like Washington was a better fit for me as a player.”
Upshaw missed the start of the NCAA season due to a knee injury. He was then suspended three games in February for a “violation of athletic department policy”, and was suspended for the entirety of the Mountain West Conference tournament for a second unspecified violation.

After a third violation, Fresno State moved on from the once highly-touted prospect.
Upshaw averaged 4.1 point and 3.8 rebounds in 22 games last season for the Bulldogs. As a senior in high school he averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks per game, making him a four-star prospect going into college.
