Gonzaga vs. Saint Mary’s final score: Zags cruise over Gaels, 73-51
Kevin Pangos scored 15 for Gonzaga as the nation’s No. 24 team moves to 3-0 in West Coast Conference play.

The Zags were lights-out from the field Thursday, shooting almost 50 percent from the field and hitting nine three-pointers. Kevin Pangos and Drew Barham accounted for six of those triples, with Pangos finishing with 15 points. Angel Nunez added 13 off the bench, also grabbing seven rebounds.
Saint Mary's was, well, whatever the opposite of lights-out is. The Gaels hit their first of twelve three-pointers and logged their first assist in the final four minutes of the game, when Gonzaga's lead was well over 20 points. Saint Mary's leading scorer was Beau Levesque, who hit six of the Gael's 15 total field goals.
Gonzaga is now 3-0 in the conference play, and they are still down a pair of significant bodies. Gary Bell Jr. remains out with a hand injury, while senior center Sam Dower Jr. is slow to return from a back ailment. The big man did check into the game against Saint Mary’s, but failed to log any statistics before being removed from the blowout.
