Senior guard DeAndre Kane nearly had a triple-double and the Iowa State Cyclones are still undefeated after beating the Baylor Bears, 87-72, on Tuesday.
Iowa State vs. Baylor final score: Cyclones stay undefeated with 87-72 win
The Cyclones are one of six remaining undefeated teams in the nation.

The Bears only trailed by two at halftime, but had trouble keeping pace with Kane and one of the higher scoring offenses in the nation. Iowa State averages 87 points per game, good for ninth in the NCAA.
Baylor tied the game, 42-42, with 18 minutes remaining in the second half, and that was as close as it would get. The Cyclones went on a quick 10-2 run to give themselves a comfortable lead, which they maintained for the rest of the game. Kane finished the game with 30 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and five steals.
Turnovers killed any momentum Baylor was trying to generate. The Cyclones scored 17 points off 19 turnovers by the Bears. Baylor center Isaiah Austin had a particularly rough night with ball control. He finished with his second double-double of the season but turned the ball over five times.
Gary Franklin and Brady Heslip led the Bears with 15 points apiece, but the Baylor offense struggled to maintain fluidity. The Bears had 13 assists on 28 field goals, compared to 23 assists on 34 field goals for the Cyclones.
Baylor returns home to take on the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday. Iowa State heads on the road to take on the Oklahoma Sooners.
