Elijah Thomas to announce on Oct. 21, and Waka Flocka Flame will be there

Ricky O'Donnell has covered basketball at all levels for more than a decade at SB Nation. He’s currently the Associate Director of Programming.

Elijah Thomas is a 6’9, 230-pound power forward out of Dallas, and one of the best remaining uncommitted prospects in the class of 2015. On Tuesday, Thomas announced that he will make his college decision on Oct. 21. He’ll have a special celebrity guest in attendance, too.

Illinois, Oklahoma State, LSU, SMU and Texas A&M are vying for Thomas’ services. Not sure why a basketball player would want a member of the BRICK SQUAD at his announcement ceremony, but here’s hoping Thomas remains commitment to going hard in the paint.
