Texas point guard Isaiah Taylor broke his wrist in the Longhorns' victory over Iowa on Thursday night, coach Rick Barnes told ESPN. Taylor does not yet have a definitive timetable for return, but ESPN's Jeff Goodman reported he's likely to miss 4-6 weeks.
Isaiah Taylor injury: Texas point guard breaks wrist, out 4-6 weeks
The Longhorns will be without their star guard for at least a month.

Isaiah Taylor Update: Rick Barnes told ESPN there's a break, tests back in Austin will determine length he's out. Sources: likely 4-6 weeks.
— Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanESPN) November 22, 2014 The injury happened late in the second half when Taylor drove to the lane and took a hard foul. He had 15 points in 26 minutes when he checked out.
Taylor, a sophomore, is Texas' best guard and a big reason why the Longhorns are ranked No. 10 in the polls. Texas will have to rely even more heavily on its front court -- starring Cam Ridley, Myles Turner and Jonathan Holmes -- with Taylor out. Javan Felix, a 5'11 junior guard, will also see a bigger role.
If Taylor is out for as long as the projected timetable suggests, he will miss Texas’ matchup with No. 1 Kentucky on Dec. 5.
