— Tommy Birch (@TommyBirch) December 11, 2014 The senior guard had been charged with "hosting a drug house - marijuana," nuisance party regulations, and a noise violation. The first charge is considered a serious misdemeanor while the latter two are simple misdemeanors. Dejean-Jones is a starting guard for the No. 13 Cyclones, who are set to play in-state rival Iowa on Friday.
Dejean-Jones was supposed to be the latest in a long line of transfer stars for Iowa State this season after arriving from UNLV. The 6’6 guard was averaging 17.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for a 6-1 Cyclones team. He was posting a 68.4 true shooting percentage, which was No. 50 in the country according to KenPom.
