The No. 21 Wisconsin Badgers weren't at their best for a stretch Sunday afternoon, but Frank Kaminsky's 25 points -- including 17 in the second half -- pushed them through to a 75-62 road win over the No. 15 Michigan Wolverines.

Michigan persevered its worst offensive half of the season, scoring 19 in the first, because of Caris LeVert’s 25-point performance, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Wolverines from losing for the third time in their past five contests.
Wisconsin dominated the offensive glass in the first half, grabbing eight offensive rebounds in 20 opportunities. That persistence paid off and, paired with a defense that held Michigan to 7-of-23 shooting, had the Badgers ahead, 34-16, with about a minute until halftime. It was their largest lead of the game.

The Badgers ended up leading 34-19 at halftime. It didn’t seem things could get much worse for the Wolverines’ offense, and it didn’t. LeVert woke up the home crowd, igniting a run that pushed the deficit down to a single score.
LeVert had 17 points in the second half, and his pair of free throws with 6:16 to go closed Wisconsin’s lead to 52-49. Michigan had scored nine straight points, and the Badgers’ offense had frozen up. Where it was active on the glass in the first half, it was stagnant and ball-watching while the Wolverines worked closer and closer.
Wisconsin went to Kaminsky on its next three possessions, and the big man came away with seven points: a pair of jumpers, and a three-point play with 3:48 to go that gave Wisconsin a 59-51 lead.
The Badgers improve to 8-5 in the Big Ten, fourth in the league standings and a game behind third-place Iowa.
