No. 11 Louisville beat No. 7 Cincinnati when Russ Smith's jumper went through the net with under three seconds remaining:

Russ Smith beat the No. 7 Bearcats in the final seconds, drilling a contested jumper with less than three seconds remaining.

The Cardinals deflected the ensuing inbounds pass, allowing time to expire for a 58-57 win.
Smith finished the game with just 10 points and five assists, but was the driving force on Louisville's final three possessions. "Russdiculous" hit Montrezl Harrell for a pair of dunks before his shot finished off the Bearcats for good. Harrell finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Sean Kilpatrick carried Cincinnati's offense, scoring 22 of his 28 points in the second half. The senior also played every minute of the contest.
With the win, Louisville has pulled within a half-game of American Athletic Conference-leading Cincinnati. The Cardinals have four games remaining, while the Bearcats have three.
No. 2 Florida 75, Ole Miss 71
The Gators overcame a 22-point first half from Marshall Henderson, improving to 14-0 in SEC play. Scottie Wilbekin had 18 points and seven assists for Florida, including a huge three-pointer in the second half to give the Gators the lead. The Rebels never led again, as Henderson went scoreless through the final 20 minutes of the game.
Florida has a chance to be crowned the new No. 1 on Monday, with Syracuse’s bad loss to Boston College. The case could be made, though, that the Orange should remain in the top spot if they beat Duke on the road later today.
No. 9 Villanova 57, St. John’s 54
The Wildcats had trouble putting away the Johnnies, but got just enough from Darrun Hilliard to notch the win. The junior guard finished with a game-high 18 points. Jakarr Sampson had a double-double for the Red Storm, scoring 12 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
At 12-2, Villanova pulls even with Creighton atop the Big East. With four games remaining, the race is on for the regular-season title.
No. 14 Virginia 70, Notre Dame 49
Virginia used a 25-0 second-half run to sink the Irish, holding Notre Dame to just 19 points after the break. Anthony Gill had eight of his game-high 15 for the Cavaliers during that run.
Now 14-1 in ACC play, Virginia holds a full game lead on 12-1 Syracuse. Depending on what shakes out in the next few games, the Orange’s visit to John Paul Jones Arena on Mar. 1 could decide the regular-season title.
No. 16 Wisconsin 79, No. 15 Iowa 74
Frank Kaminsky's 21 points were too much for Iowa, as Wisconsin finished a season sweep of the Hawkeyes. The 7-footer shot 8-for-13 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds. His partner in crime, Sam Dekker, polished off a double-double by grabbing 11 rebounds to go along with 15 points.
With four games left, the Badgers could make a push for the Big Ten title. They have the easiest schedule of any remaining contender, getting Indiana, Penn State, Purdue and Nebraska to finish out the regular season. Only Michigan and Michigan State remain above them in the standings, and those teams will square off tomorrow.
North Carolina 105, Wake Forest 72
The Tar Heels shot 57 percent in an absolute rout of Wake Forest. UNC shot 11-for-15 from behind the arc, as guard Leslie McDonald hit five threes on the day. Six North Carolina players finished in double figures, including a game-high 19 from McDonald.
The Tar Heels have now won nine in a row, including wins over Pitt and Duke. They will certainly be among the ranked teams on Monday, and could emerge as a favorite to compete for an NCAA Tournament title.
