The Big 12 Tournament will hit the Sprint Center in Kansas City from March 12-15.
Big 12 Tournament 2014 bracket: Jayhawks look to cut nets down again
KU comes to Kansas City in as the No. 1 seed and the favorites to cut the nets down. Will Bill Self’s boys cut the nets down, or does an underdog emerge?

The Kansas Jayhawks come in as the No. 1 seed and the favorites to win yet another conference crown, but with Joel Embiid's out with a back injury, the field could be wide open should KU continue to struggle without their freshman phenom.
Somewhat quietly, the Oklahoma Sooners swooped up the No. 2 seed after finishing the year 12-6 against Big 12 foes. The Sooners are one of the nation's top teams offensively and really like to get out in the open floor and push the tempo.
OU could meet up with No. 3 seeded Texas in the semifinals; the Longhorns surpassed all expectations this year, and it probably saved Rick Barnes' job for him. Barnes was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year over the weekend, and he knows the Longhorns have a chance to really bolster their NCAA Tournament résumé with a strong showing in Kansas City.
