Pac-12 Tournament 2014 schedule and bracket: Arizona, UCLA lead deep field

After winning the conference by three games, Arizona will look to cut the nets down in Las Vegas. With a handful of bubble teams in the hunt, will the Wildcats fall early?

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Spor

Last year's Pac-12 Tournament hit the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the first time and was a huge success. This week, all 12 teams from the Conference of Champions will return to Sin City for what should be one of the best conference tournaments in the country.

Arizona leads the pack as the No. 1 seed. The Wildcats finished the year with a 15-3 mark against the Pac-12, though all three of their losses came after Brandon Ashley was lost for the season with a foot injury. UA hit a rough patch for a couple of weeks as they adjusted to life without Ashley, but a new-found up-tempo offensive attack led the 'Cats to five wins in their final six games.

UCLA comes in stumbling a bit as the No. 2 seed. The Bruins finished the season at 12-6, but they lost three of their last five games. Arizona State, the three seed, is in a similar boat, dropping four games in the last three weeks to put a dampen on a nice rebound season for Herb Sendek’s boys.

The Sun Devils were one of five teams to finish with 10-8 records, though they got the highest seed because of the tiebreaker. Keep an eye on Oregon this week; the Ducks are riding high after knocking off Arizona in the regular season finale and won the conference tournament last year before making a run to the Sweet 16 in the NCAAs.

Looking for a sleeper? Don't count out the Utah Utes. The Utes are the No. 8 seed and only went 9-9 in conference play, but seven of their losses came by four points or fewer. If Utah can figure out how to close games, they're a dangerous team in Vegas.
