NCAA Tournament 2014 bracket: Arizona top seed in West Region
Wisconsin, Creighton and Baylor are some of the other highly seeded teams in the region. Get your complete, printable bracket here.
The top seed in the West Region goes to the Arizona Wildcats, and unsurprisingly so, as the winners of the only major conference out west.
The Wildcats finished the regular season 28-3, running undefeated through their non-conference schedule and winning their first 21 games before an early February loss to Cal. The Wildcats only boasted one win in the regular season against a team that was ranked at the time, however -- a six-point neutral-site victory over Duke.
Arizona's other big wins came against UNLV and on the road against Michigan, as well as a road victory over second-place UCLA. The Wildcats went 15-3 in conference play, a full three games ahead of the Bruins, with their losses coming to Cal, Arizona State and Oregon. In the Pac-12 Tournament, they lost 75-71 in the final to UCLA.
