Saint Joseph’s wins 2014 Atlantic 10 basketball tournament: Hawks edge VCU, 65-61
St. Joe’s has an official bid to the NCAA Tournament, riding 19 points from Langston Galloway.

Ronald Roberts Jr. led the way for St. Joe's, notching a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Roberts hit all six of his shots, powering the Hawks in the paint. Fellow forward Halil Kanacevic also finished with a double-double, tallying 11 points and 14 boards.
Rob Brandenberg had a team-high 18 points for VCU, including three three-pointers. Treveon Graham stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with 15 points, nine rebounds and even a pair of steals.
With the automatic bid, St. Joe’s pops itself off the bubble. Even in defeat, VCU is certain to receive an at-large bid. The A-10 as a whole could get as many as six teams in, which would be one more than the five bids its received in last year’s tournament.
