The most powerful man in the world likes Michigan State and Louisville to clash for the national championship.

President Obama filled out his annual NCAA Tournament bracket with ESPN's Andy Katz this week. On Wednesday, his picks were unveiled to the rest of the world.

Obama likes Florida to reach the Final Four out of the South Region, Michigan State to march on from the east, Arizona to come out of the west and Louisville to win the midwest. His championship game is between Michigan State and Louisville, with Tom Izzo and the Spartans cutting down the nets in Dallas.

A few things stuck out with his picks:

  • In the South Region, the president picked No. 6 seeded Ohio State to upset No. 3 Syracuse in the third round. Imagine that -- a former presidential candidate wanting to make the people of Ohio happy.
  • Obama likes two 12 seeds to pull the 12-5 upset this year. He picked Harvard to knock off Cincinnati, and also sees North Dakota State defeating Oklahoma. He picked Arizona State to upset Texas in the midwest region's 7-10 game.
  • There weren't many big upsets in the later rounds. Other than North Carolina and Ohio State (two six seeds) reaching the Sweet 16, Obama mostly went with chalk. The president does, however, think Louisville ends Wichita State's undefeated season in the Sweet 16.
