NCAA Tournament 2014: Schedule for March Madness Second Round games

The Madness is about to begin with 16 games on Thursday. Top-seeded Florida and defending-champion Louisville are among the teams set to take the floor.

SB Nation 2014 NCAA March Madness Coverage

Arguably the best 48 hours of the sporting year have arrived. With the second round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament set to begin on Thursday, 16 games will fill the slate from noon until the late hours of the evening. Let's dig into the schedule for the first full day of March Madness. All times are Eastern.

No. 6 Ohio State vs. No. 11 Dayton, 12:15 p.m., CBS
The Buckeyes were once a top-five team. Conference play was brutal, but it seems they have regained their footing a bit. Could Aaron Craft lead Ohio State to yet another deep run?

No. 2 Wisconsin vs. No. 15 American, 12:40 p.m., truTV
The Badgers have all the elements of a Final Four team.

No. 8 Colorado vs. No. 9 Pittsburgh, 1:40 p.m., TBS
The first team to 50 is probably winning this one. Do not be surprised if this is an ugly one.

No. 5 Cincinnati vs. No. 12 Harvard, 2:10 p.m., TNT
Could this be one of the 5-12 upsets this year? Harvard is experienced and can really shoot the ball.

No. 3 Syracuse vs. No. 14 Western Michigan, 2:45 p.m., CBS
Will the real Syracuse team please stand up?

No. 7 Oregon vs. No. 10 BYU, 3:10 p.m., truTV
The first team to 90 probably wins this one. Defense will be optional.

No. 1 Florida vs. No. 16 Albany, 4:10 p.m., TBS
Anything less than a blowout will be a moral victory for the Great Danes, who already won their play-in game on Tuesday.

No. 4 Michigan State vs. No. 13 Delaware, 4:40 p.m., TNT

The national media loves the Spartans, and many people are picking them to win the national championship. Can they continue their recent dominance after winning the Big Ten Tournament with ease?

No. 7 UConn vs. No. 10 Saint Joseph’s, 6:55 p.m., TBS
This could be one of the best games of the second round.

No. 2 Michigan vs. No. 15 Wofford, 7:10 p.m., CBS

The defending national runners-up look to make another deep run in the Big Dance behind Nik Stauskas.

No. 5 Saint Louis vs. No. 12 North Carolina State, 7:20 p.m., TNT
Saint Louis has lost four of its last five games. North Carolina State looked awfully good against Xavier on Tuesday night. Could this be another 12-5 upset?

No. 5 Oklahoma vs. No. 12 North Dakota State, 7:27 p.m., truTV
Both teams can really shoot the ball. The Sooners are on upset alert.

No. 2 Villanova vs. No. 15 Milwaukee, 9:25 p.m., TBS
Despite being a two seed and sitting in the top-10 almost all year, no one is really talking about the Wildcats.

No. 7 Texas vs. No. 10 Arizona State, 9:40 p.m., CBS
Both teams struggle to score but get after it on the defensive end. Who wins the battle of big front courts?

No. 4 Louisville vs. No. 13 Manhattan, 9:50 p.m., TNT
The defending champs are white-hot.

No. 4 San Diego State vs. No. 13 New Mexico State, 9:57 p.m., truTV
The Aztecs are excellent defensively but lack offensive firepower. If the Aggies can hit some threes, this could be an interesting one out west.
