Dayton advances to Elite 8, fans flood the streets to celebrate

If you were planning on driving around Dayton, Ohio tonight, you may want to think again.

No. 11 seed Dayton is alive and well in the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the Elite 8 with a 82-72 win against Stanford on Thursday. Shortly after the game ended, Flyer fans filled the streets to celebrate.

According to U.S. News, Dayton has an undergraduate enrollment of 8,042 students and, judging by pictures from the scene, every single one of them flooded into the streets to celebrate the win.
