Theo Pinson’s SELFIE DUNK leads McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest

Duke commit Grayson Allen “won” the McDonald’s slam dunk competition, but here is a guy taking a picture of himself while dunking and isn’t he the real winner?

Did you know that your college basketball team has the best incoming recruits? Well, they do, and the way you can prove that is by watching them in a dunk contest.

Here’s UNC commit Theo Pinson with SELFIE DUNK, an addition to the Props While Dunking canon that we’re surprised hadn’t actually happened before:

Pinson has yet to actually post the picture to Twitter or Instagram -- we imagine it’s kinda tough to actually take a picture while dunking. Luckily, the judges weren’t judging the image, just the dunk.

Pinson also dunked over Jay Williams, because he went to UNC and Williams went to Duke and we hear those two teams don’t like each other.

Williams took it in stride:

Neither Pinson dunk was particularly impressive, but dude has symbolism DOWN.

Duke fans probably recovered pretty quickly from the UNC slighting, because, uh, Duke commit Grayson Allen won the whole danged thing.

He put on Williams’ jersey to dunk over fellow Duke commit Jahlil Okafor -- wow, Duke was big on getting dunked on tonight.

And okay we get it you can jump over people although yeah it is pretty impressive nobody died here:

Here is Kentucky commit Karl Towns nailing a blindfolded windmill.

KARL TOWNS IS SEVEN FEET TALL. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES. JOHN CALIPARI HAS A SEVEN-FOOTER WHO DOES NOT NEED TO USE VISION TO HAMMER WINDMILL DUNKS. HE HAS SONAR.

Here’s Kansas commit Kelly Oubre with perhaps the dunk of the evening, the catch-to-windmill finish that would make waves in a pro contest.
