We already detailed why new Tulsa coach Frank Haith is college basketball’s “Czar of Bizarre”. Haith just left Missouri for an inferior program at Tulsa and seems pretty happy about it, which is how Tigers fans are probably feeling right now, too. How did he do it? By getting his “Devil In a New Dress” on and sending a break-up text. We’re tempted to say that makes Haith the Kanye West of college basketball, except for the pesky fact that he’s not really that good at what he does.
Frank Haith seems confused at his Tulsa press conference
From text message break-ups to screwing up the name of his new program’s conference, Haith has been on quite a roll this week.

Haith was introduced at Tulsa on Friday in a press conference predictably filled with a few laughs. Like this:
And now Haith just called the American conference "the Atlantic." And he "thinks" they have a TV deal with ESPN. This is gold.
— Sam Strong (@SamStrong) April 18, 2014 Good news, Frank Haith: Your conference -- the American, not the Atlantic -- *does* have a TV deal with ESPN. It’s a pretty good one, too.
Also, he just told some straight up lies:
Haith: "It had to take a place like (Tulsa) to leave Missouri." OooooKkk.
— Sam Strong (@SamStrong) April 18, 2014 At least the school president believes him:
Now Tulsa president just shamed the media for suggesting Missouri is a better job.
