McDonald’s All-American Game 2014: Game time and TV schedule

The best high schoolers in America hit the Worldwide Leader on Wednesday.

The McDonald's All-American Game on Wednesday will show off the country's top high-school talent, as it does every year; last year's participants included Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon, Noah Vonleh and several other prominent freshmen throughout college basketball this season.

This year’s class features a lot of talent facing off against each other, including the top centers in the class. Chicago’s Jahlil Okafor, who is headed to Duke, is the No. 1 player in the Class of 2014. He’s a 7-foot, 270-pound center with a polished post game. He’s on the West squad paired against the next two best big men in the class. Karl-Anthony Towns is a lean 7-footer who ranges out to the perimeter; he’s signed to Kentucky. Myles Turner is the only undecided player in the game. He relies a lot on his athleticism to create play, and he’s still filling in to his frame after a rapid growth spurt put him further under the basket than ever before.

Cliff Alexander, a 6’8 power forward from Chicago, will also suit up for the West. He’s signed to play for Kansas, one of three future Jayhawks in the game. Duke and Kentucky lead with four signees each.

The girls’ All-American Game tips off on ESPNU at 7 p.m. ET on ESPNU, and the boys’ game will follow at 9:30 p.m. ET. The boys’ game will be broadcast on ESPN.
