Now that the final day to declare for the NBA Draft has passed, Bovada has posted its college basketball championship odds for next season. Not surprisingly, Kentucky is the favorite.
Kentucky is the betting favorite to win 2015 national championship in college basketball
A loaded Wildcats team is the favorite to win its second national title, with its third title game appearance, in four years.

The Wildcats return the best frontcourt in America — top recruits Karl Towns and Trey Lyles will join Alex Poythress, Willie Cauley-Stein and Dakari Johnson — and starting guards Aaron and Andrew Harrison. With so much talent in Lexington next year, the Wildcats look like they’re in prime position to return to the Final Four.

The Wildcats are followed by Duke, which many people considered to be the preseason No. 1 team before Kentucky’s stars announced they would return. The Blue Devils lose Jabari Parker and Rodney Hood, but bring in top recruits Jahlil Okafor and Tyus Jones. With an improved defense, Duke should be even better next season.
If the oddsmakers are right, the overall field should be pretty even next season. The Big Ten, ACC and Big 12 all have four teams with 50/1 or better odds, while the Pac-12 has three.
While we only listed the odds of teams up to 50/1, Bovada did its due diligence to list odds for others — poor DePaul is 500/1 to win next year’s title.
