No. 1 Kentucky flirted with disaster for the second straight game, but once again the Wildcats found a way to keep their undefeated season alive. Kentucky outlasted Texas A&M in double overtime, 70-64, on Saturday afternoon at College Station.

Kentucky went to overtime for the second straight game on Saturday. Once again, the Wildcats survived.

Kentucky dodged bullet after bullet from the Aggies. The Wildcats only had one field goal in the last nine minutes of regulation, including a missed breakaway layup by Andrew Harrison with 23 seconds left that could have iced the game. Kentucky only made one field goal in the first overtime session, but freshman Trey Lyles hit two free throws to tie the game with six seconds left to force another five minutes.
Texas A&M again had its chances in the second OT, but couldn't score enough to get the job done. A three-pointer by freshman guard Tyler Ulis with 90 seconds left gave Kentucky a lead it would never relinquish.
Foul trouble hurt Kentucky. Willie Cauley-Stein fouled out with just over four minutes remaining, and Karl-Anthony Towns was whistled for his fifth foul in overtime. Aaron Harrison fouled out in double overtime.
It all combined to give Texas A&M a great chance. Danuel House was the star of the night for the Aggies, finishing with 25 points and nine rebounds. Guard Alex Robinson added 10 rebounds off the bench.
Kentucky shot only 28.1 percent from the field. Devin Booker led the way for the Wildcats with 18 points off the bench. The Harrison twins struggled, combining to go 6-for-30 from the field on the night.
Kentucky has now needed three overtime periods to win its first two SEC games. Ole Miss also fell to the Wildcats in overtime last week.
