Villanova struggled shooting the ball throughout the night. The Wildcats shot only 5-of-24 from three-point range and finished the game hitting only 31 percent from the field.
Junior big man Daniel Ochefu was incredible for the Wildcats. Ochefu was a mismatch nightmare for Seton Hall all afternoon, finishing with 19 points and 24 rebounds (including eight offensive boards) in the game. Darrun Hilliard II also added 14 for Villanova.
Seton Hall had a chance with the game tied at 58 at the end of regulation but Gibbs’ attempt at the rim missed. Villanova got the ball back with five seconds left, but Hilliard missed a three-pointer at the buzzer.
Seton Hall is now 12-2, while Villanova falls to 13-1. There are five unbeaten teams left -- Kentucky, Virginia, Duke, TCU and Colorado State.
