5-star recruit Rawle Alkins says friends hacked his phone to tweet fake commitment to Buffalo

This is savage.

Rawle Alkins is a crazy talented five-star hoops recruit from New York, with offers from Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina and many more. On Friday, those who follow college basketball recruiting were shocked to see Alkins tweet he had committed to the University of Buffalo. The Bulls did make the NCAA Tournament last season, but were never previously mentioned as a serious suitor for Alkins.

This confused a lot of people.

Alkins hopped on Twitter minutes later to confirm that his friends hacked his phone to play a joke on him.

Bravo to the friends, though. No harm done -- except for this poor Buffalo assistant coach.
