The Kentucky Wildcats have locked in another terrifying recruiting class for next season. Five-star shooting guard Malik Monk picked Kentucky over Arkansas on Wednesday in an announcement on Twitter.
5-star recruit Malik Monk commits to Kentucky over Arkansas
The rest of the country should be very afraid.

Monk joins a class that already included three 5-star players in point guard De’Aaron Fox and big men Edrice Adebayo and Wenyen Gabriel. Four-star big man Sacha Killeya-Jones rounds out a recruiting class for Kentucky that could be the best of Calipari’s storied career.
Monk is an explosive leaper with deep shooting range who can play on or off the ball. Monk’s game is a perfect complement to Fox’s skill set, and that’s before considering that guards like Tyler Ulis and Isaiah Briscoe could return to school.
Monk’s decision is a devastating blow for Arkansas. The entire Razorbacks team had been seen showing up to his high school games. Monk’s older brother Marcus starred for Arkansas football as a wide receiver from 2004-2007.
