— Northeastern MBB (@GoNUmbasketball) November 27, 2015 Northeastern shocks Miami on a buzzer-beater from Quincy Ford

Miami’s 5-0 start was one of the best stories of the early college basketball season, but the Hurricanes fell on Friday thanks to a last-second shot by Northeastern’s Quincy Ford. The final two of Ford’s 24 points gave Northeastern a 78-77 upset. Teammate David Walker also added 21 points in the win.
Northeastern hit twice as many three-pointers as Miami by connecting on 12-of-22 shots from behind the arc. Davon Reed led the Hurricanes with 19 points.
Northeastern made the tournament out of the CAA last season for the first time since 1991. Miami and Northeastern are now both 5-1.
