The unranked Utes earned a big win in New York on Saturday.

Poeltl fought off foul trouble for most of the afternoon to finish with 19 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks on 8-of-11 shooting from the field. Duke, playing without injured senior big Amile Jefferson, was vulnerable inside all night. Utah finished with a 55-36 advantage on the glass and a 9-5 advantage in blocks.
Sophomore Kyle Kuzma also had one of the best games of his career for Utah. The 6’8 forward finished with 21 points, and seven rebounds in the win.
Duke staged an impressive late comeback in overtime. Blue Devils freshman Luke Kennard nailed a four-point play to cut a six-point lead to two with six seconds left.
Duke then stole the inbound pass, but freshman Brandon Ingram missed a shot at the rim in the final seconds that could have tied the game.
Duke shot only 29.9 percent from the field in the loss. Kennard finished with a game-high 24 points for Duke in the loss. The win moves the unranked Utes to 9-2, while Duke falls to 9-2.
