NCAA basketball rankings 2015: Utah enters the top 10

Upset losses and ranked showdowns don’t always breed change, and this week’s AP Top 25 is evidence of that.

Despite a week loaded with the expected amount of upsets that conference play in mid-February typically brings, there are no newcomers in the latest installment of the Associated Press Top 25.

Unbeaten Kentucky remains the unanimous No. 1 choice, receiving all 65 first-place votes for a fourth consecutive week. Falling in behind the Wildcats is the unchanged remaining top five of Virginia, Gonzaga, Duke, and Wisconsin. The top eight actually remained completely unaltered this week, with Villanova, Arizona, and Kansas all holding onto their same spots.

Following an upset home loss to NC State on Saturday, Louisville fell out of the top 10 for the first time all season, slipping from No. 9 to No. 12. The slide allowed Utah to jump two spots from No. 11 and move into the Cardinals’ former ranking.
