Kansas State announces indefinite suspensions for Marcus Foster, Malek Harris
Foster is the leading scorer and an All-Big 12 candidate for the Wildcats.

“Our players have expectations and there are consequences when you don’t live up to those expectations,” K-State head coach Bruce Weber said in a release. “Hopefully, they will learn from this experience and make the necessary progress to rejoin our team.”
Coming off a sensational freshman season, Foster was named a preseason All-Big 12 second team selection back in October. In 2013-14, he led the Wildcats in eight categories, including scoring (15.5 ppg.), double-digit scoring games (27), 20-point games (eight), field goals (177), 3-point field goals (79) and free throw percentage (73.4). He and Michael Beasley are the only true freshmen in K-State history to earn All-Big 12 honors.
Harris, a consensus top 100 recruit coming out of high school, has appeared in 20 of Kansas State’s 22 games this season, averaging 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
Kansas State, which is 12-10 overall and 5-4 in the Big 12, plays at Texas Tech Wednesday night.
