Kansas entered its Saturday afternoon game against Oklahoma State with a firm grip on the Big 12. This is nothing new: the Jayhawks have won the league 10 straight seasons, and an 8-1 start in conference play had Bill Self’s team in line to push the mark one year further. The Cowboys, meanwhile, were a classic Jekyll and Hyde team, alternating wins and loss in their last six games.
Oklahoma State erases halftime deficit to upset Kansas
Oklahoma State fans stormed the court after the Cowboys knocked off No. 8 Kansas.

For a half, it looked like Kansas was poised to take care of business on the road without much trouble. The Jayhawks led by 11 going into the break as Oklahoma State struggled to stop the Kansas attack. The second half was a different story. Behind a big game from Le’Bryan Nash, the Cowboys upset Kansas, 67-62, in Stillwater.
The game turned in four minutes of the second half. Oklahoma State found a way to turn defense into offense and used this big dunk from Michael Cobbins to get the crowd into it.
Cobbins (seven points, eight rebounds) was the only Oklahoma State starter not to finish in double figures. Nash led the way for the Cowboys, finishing with 18 points and five rebounds on 5-of-14 shooting. Anthony Hickey Jr. (15 points) and Phil Forte III (13 points) also helped pace the offense.
Kansas made 10-of-20 three-pointers but still shot only 39 percent from the floor. Wayne Selden Jr. finished with 15 points for the Jayhawks in the loss.
Kansas is now 19-4 overall and 8-2 in conference. The Jayhawks are a game ahead of Iowa State, with the two teams splitting their games this season.
