On Wednesday, Marcus Posley went the length of the court and hit a game-winner at the buzzer that both ended Davidson’s 15-game winning streak and gave head coach Mark Schmidt his 200th career victory.
Saint Bonaventure beats No. 18 VCU at the buzzer

Surely, Posley’s week couldn’t get any better ....
This was the proverbial pound of salt in the foot-long wound that has been VCU’s week. First, they found out exactly seven days ago that senior star Briante Weber had suffered a season-ending knee injury. Four days later, leading scorer Treveon Graham re-injured his left ankle, which forced him to miss Saturday’s game.
Bonnie Nation (don’t care if that’s a thing or not, I’m not deleting it) had to enjoy the first buzzer-beater of the week from their homes, but this time there was a court that needed to be stormed.
I feel like “storm” isn’t even the right word here. That’s more like a court assault.
The A-10 giveth, and they A-10 taketh away.
