Perhaps the most insane finish of college basketball’s postseason to date ended with Ole Miss taking a loss that may wind up knocking them out of the NCAA Tournament.
Ole Miss blows crucial game in mind-blowingly stupid fashion, Marshall Henderson reacts accordingly

It had appeared as though the Rebels were set to steal one from South Carolina in the SEC Tournament’s second round after the Gamecocks fouled Jarvis Summers on a made three-pointer with 4 seconds to play. Summers drilled the free throw to give Ole Miss a 58-57 lead and send former Rebel star Marshall Henderson into delirium.
Then, inexplicably, LaDarius White fouled South Carolina’s Tyrone Johnson on Johnson’s desperation shot to win, sending one of the league’s best free throw shooters to the line for three freebies with 0.7 seconds to go.
Johnson buried all three, and a final heave from Ole Miss was blocked at the horn.
Henderson’s postgame reaction summed up the feelings of the entire fan base.
Ole Miss will now have to sweat it out on Selection Sunday, while South Carolina moves on to face Georgia in a Friday night quarterfinal game.
