March Madness 2015 schedule: Kentucky and the rest of the field in the Midwest

Either Manhattan or Hampton will get the first shot at Kentucky. Here’s when they’ll play that game, as well as the others in the Midwest region.

SB Nation 2015 March Madness Bracket

With unbeaten Kentucky as its No. 1 seed, all eyes are on the Midwest region this week and how the Wildcats’ potential road to the Final Four will take shape.

We know that road will start on Thursday with a game against either Manhattan or Hampton. The Jaspers and Pirates will meet each other in the First Four on Tuesday to determine who gets to go to Louisville to face Kentucky. That game will be tip off shortly before 9:40 p.m. ET on Thursday.

If the Wildcats win that game, which they should, they’ll get the winner of Cincinnati and Purdue, which will play in the 8-9 game the first game of the evening session in Louisville, at 7:10 p.m..

Elsewhere in the region, 2 seed Kansas starts with a game against New Mexico State in Omaha on Friday. Barring a colossal upset, the Jayhawks will play either Wichita State or Indiana at a to-be-determined time on Sunday.
