NCAA basketball tournament odds 2015: Las Vegas likes Utah
A look at how Vegas has this year’s NCAA Tournament entrants slotted.
March Madness is finally here. We now know who will be playing who, and when, and where. We know who has an easy road and who got screwed by the selection committee. And we know that everything goes through Kentucky, who is a 6/5 favorite to win the 2015 NCAA Tournament, according to OddsShark.com. But how do the rest of this year's teams stack up? What kind of odds can you get for Arizona, or Wisconsin or Duke?
Realtime Bracket Game
Looking at the Vegas odds can also be an extremely helpful tool for those of you just filling out brackets and not looking to place some future bets. It’s a great way to see which teams the committee has overvalued and undervalued -- the odds can tell you which teams are primed to be upset and which teams are primed to pull off some upsets. Utah, for example, is a No. 5 seed, but Vegas has the Utes as the 10th likeliest team to cut down the nets in April. That means something. On the other end of the spectrum you have a team like Kansas, which, despite being a No. 2 seed, Vegas has at 40/1.
Below are the odds for every team, via OddsShark. Anyone feeling a $1 bet on Manhattan?
