With the NCAA Tournament finally here, it seemed like a good time to start recording the college basketball conversations I have my with friend Scott Phillips. You can read Scott’s work at NBC’s College Basketball Talk and at Comcast Sports Net Chicago. Scott and I run through every first round matchup in the NCAA Tournament, and discuss the tournament’s most pressing questions.
Namely: Can anyone beat Kentucky? What teams ranked lower than a No. 2 seed can make a run to the Final Four? Is Rick Barnes trash?
We’re also intermittently joined by our friend Zach Martin in the “guy on the couch” role. Zach writes the occasional baseball story for Deadspin but is mostly just a person on Twitter. Don’t follow him.
