UAB tosses basketball’s first ever decent alley-oop layup

UAB is putting together a nice run late in the first half against Iowa State after struggling early. The Blazers stopped worrying about slowing down ISU’s breakneck pace and started playing with the Cyclones. This alley-oop to freshman William Lee is a direct example of that.
Still, we have a few questions:
1) WHY DIDN’T HE DUNK THIS?
2) Should alley-oop layups not count, or should they be minus-one point?
3) What’s worse, alley-oop layups or zone defense?
4) Blazers vs. Cyclones in a MASCOT DEATHBRACKET is a Final Four-worthy matchup. That’s not a question, but never forget it.
