With the NCAA Tournament in full swing, it’s easy to forget that the NIT is going on at the same time. But Sunday brings three games, each including a top-two seed in the bracket fighting for a spot in the quarterfinals.
NIT 2015 schedule and bracket: Top seeds Temple and Richmond in action
After beating teams with automatic bids in the first round, top seeds Temple and Richmond will face tougher tests in round two.

No. 1 Temple, which survived a tough test from Bucknell, 73-67 in the first round, hosts George Washington in the day’s first game. The Colonials knocked off Pitt on the road to advance.
Fellow No. 1 seed Richmond will host Arizona State on Sunday night. The Sun Devils advanced to play Richmond by beating 2014 National Champion Connecticut in Storrs on Wednesday, while the Spiders beat St. Francis-Brooklyn. The winner of that game will face Miami (FL). The second-seeded Hurricanes beat Alabama on Saturday to reach the quarterfinals.
Danny Hurley and Rhode Island get the final game of the night. The Rams will travel to the west coast to face No. 2 Stanford. The winner of that game will face Vanderbilt, which already beat the No. 8 seed South Dakota State.
Each of the three winners on Sunday will move to within one game of the semifinals, to be played at Madison Square Garden. Here’s a complete look at the schedule on Sunday. All times Eastern:
11 a.m.: No. 5 George Washington at No. 1 Temple
7:30 p.m.: No. 5 Arizona State at No. 1 Richmond
