Wisconsin power forward Nigel Hayes has a full fledged obsession with stenographers at this point. Hayes previously went out of his way to drop words like “antidisestablishmentarianism” and “cattywampus” just to make the life of the NCAA’s stenographer a little bit more difficult. On Wednesday, a question about the stenographers led to him revealing something he didn’t want everyone to hear.
Hayes didn’t realize the microphone was on when he commented that a woman at the press conference was “beautiful.” He seemed pretty embarrassed about it:
