NCAA printable bracket 2015: The Elite Eight is here
Three regions have been predictable, while the East will be decided by a No. 4 vs. No. 7 matchup.
The Elite Eight field is set after Gonzaga, Louisville, Duke and Michigan State advanced from the Sweet 16 on Friday. Here's are all the scores. Now, the eight best teams in the country will battle to advance to the Final Four in Indianapolis. You can find an updated printable bracket right here.
The South and West regions have stayed true to their standings, each resulting in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown. The Wisconsin Badgers beat North Carolina and will now face Arizona on Saturday in a game that will likely decided by which team's front court is better. Wisconsin is led by Big Ten Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky and they just saw Sam Dekker score 23 points in Thursday's game, but the Wildcats can match them with size and physicality led by Stanley Johnson.
Sunday’s Duke vs. Gonzaga game is the other No. 1 vs. No 2. The Blue Devils are favored slightly, but both teams are relatively equal. Gonzaga relies on an explosive offense that has scored on everyone this season, led by Kyle Wiltjer. Duke has a couple of quality options on offense, but on Friday it was Justise Winslow, who burst onto the scene with 21 points, 10 rebounds and a couple of blocks. If the freshman forward can come up big again, then the game might turn into a shootout.
And then there are the two other games. No. 3 Notre Dame has the impossible task of slowing down undefeated No. 1 Kentucky on Saturday. Although Notre Dame has a good squad, the Irish may need the game of their lives to have any real success against the Wildcats. In Sunday’s second game, No. 4 Louisville and No. 7 Michigan State will square off in the East, the bracket’s most bipolar region. That features an interesting coaching matchup, Rick Pitino of Louisville against Tom Izzo and the Spartans. No. 1 Villanova and No. 2 Virginia both fell the opening weekend, while No. 3 Oklahoma had its season ended by MSU on Friday.
