Summit League Tournament 2015: Bracket, schedule and scores

South Dakota State are the favorites to win the Summit League tournament, but it has a couple of teams looking over its shoulder.

Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

The Summit League tournament started on Saturday and will continue through Tuesday, with a spot in the NCAA Tournament on the line. The tournament is taking place in Sioux Falls, S.D.

South Dakota State is the top seed after going 12-4 in the regular season. The Jackrabbits are the big favorites to win the tournament, although they have North Dakota State right behind them. The Bison won the tournament last season and also finished 12-4 in conference play, splitting the season series with their neighborly rivals. Also in the mix is Oral Roberts, which re-joined the league this year after spending just two seasons in the Southland Conference.

The format

Nebraska-Omaha is ineligible due to a Division I transition, so the tournament will follow a standard eight-team format with no byes.

The first two rounds will be aired on Midco Sports Network, a regional network that’s mainly available in the Dakotas and Minnesota. They will also be streamed online at ESPN3. The championship round will air on ESPN2.

The teams

  1. South Dakota State Jackrabbits
  2. North Dakota State Bison
  3. Oral Roberts Golden Eagles
  4. IPFW Mastodons
  5. South Dakota Coyotes
  6. IUPUI Jaguars
  7. Denver Pioneers
  8. Western Illinois Leathernecks
