One of the most highly anticipated recruitments in the class of 2015 is finally starting to take shape. Georgia native Jaylen Brown cut his list down to five schools on Monday and will pick between Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Michigan and Cal, according to Scout.

Brown is a 6'7, 220-pound wing with elite athleticism. He is ranked No. 4 player in the country by ESPN. He is currently projected to be selected No. 2 overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by Draft Express.

Brown cut three teams from his list on Monday. Georgia, Georgia Tech and UCLA are out. Brown played on adidas’ AAU circuit and has said in the past he’d like to play for an adidas school in college. That might not mean much anymore because three of his final five are Nike schools. Only Kansas and Michigan are affiliated with adidas.

Brown would be a welcome addition for all five programs. At Kentucky, he'd likely start at small forward and be one of three freshman starters. At North Carolina, he would take J.P. Tokoto's spot in the lineup, the junior who recently declared for the NBA draft. Kansas has experience on the wing but Kelly Oubre's departure opens up playing time. At Michigan, he'd team with Caris LeVert and Zak Irvin for a strong perimeter attack. At Cal, he'd team up with fellow five-star recruit Ivan Rabb.
