Duke vs. Wisconsin 2015: Time, TV schedule and preview for NCAA basketball championship

Two of the best offenses in the country square off for the national championship Monday night. Duke is coming off a double-digit win over Michigan State and Wisconsin finished off Kentucky.

Duke can praise Wisconsin for taking down the other Big Blue giant that had overshadowed the Blue Devils’ strong season. But that’s all. Now, it’s two of the best offenses in the country squaring off for the national championship.

For the Blue Devils, it could be coach Mike Krzyzewski’s fifth title. For Bo Ryan and the Badgers, it could be the program’s first in 74 seasons. The Blue Devils (34-4) have been running past teams left and right on their way to a national championship appearance, beating Michigan State by 20 points in the Final Four. They’re allowing 55 points per game to opponents in the tournament, which is becoming one of the better defensive outings by a team in recent memory.

And it's been Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow, Tyus Jones and Grayson Allen that have been the freshmen of notice at season's end, their brand of blue basketball reigning supreme over the Wildcats that overshadowed them. On the other side of the ring, it's the laid-back Badgers (36-3) that won everyone's hearts after taking down the Wildcats and avenging last year's Final Four loss.

Naismith Award winner Frank Kaminsky has been shouldering the offensive load for them in the tournament when it hasn't been Sam Dekker scoring from deep. Wisconsin scored 1.23 points per possession against Kentucky's massive length and played great defense during the game.

It should be a showdown of offensive fortitude on Monday night. And the winner will have left no doubts over who the best team in America this season has been.

Here’s how to watch the national championship:
